Part of University Communications, Web Communications provides leadership and strategic direction for NC State University’s overall Web presence and online communications. We operate the university’s homepage, second level pages and various elements of the university’s core Web site in addition to several other sites that support the university’s strategic marketing and communication goals. Web Communications also provides assistance, support, coordination and strategic consultation for online communications and initiatives campus-wide.
Luis Chacon, Director of Web Communications
Directs, manages and implements the university’s web marketing and digital content strategy. Responsible for the NC State website and central social media channels. Serves as a digital strategist, working with campus partners to advance the NC State brand.
Andrew Matthews, Web and Mobile Applications Developer
Responsible for Web and application development support for the central university website, as well as other key constituent sites, micro-sites and online marketing communication efforts.

Drew Sykes, Social Media and Digital Content Specialist
Responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of strategic social media and digital initiatives, including developing and managing social marketing campaigns, creating and monitoring high-profile accounts, and integrating interactive media into the overall university digital content strategy.
