Wilson College of Textiles student Lainey Volz spent a weekend networking with industry leaders and exploring New York City through the U of NYFW program. NC State University’s Trademark Licensing Office turned Volz’s dream into a reality earlier in February. Through the U of NYFW program, she spent a weekend immersed in the fashion industry during Spring 2024 NYFW. Not only did Volz have the opportunity to attend a runway show, she also explored backstage, toured Champion headquarters and heard from a panel of professionals working in all areas of the fashion industry.

NC State Announces 321 Coffee Partnership
NC State University announced today the start of a new partnership with alumni-owned and -operated 321 Coffee to produce an officially licensed co-branded coffee. The “Greater Good” blend will be available for purchase directly from 321 Coffee beginning on April 11. The medium roast coffee features NC State branding and barista Sam, one of 321’s first employees and a lifelong Wolfpack fan.
