New features include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A search block that can be configured to search different post types<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A more streamlined way to embed <span class=\"ncstateglossaryterm\" data-title=\"Student recruitment and application system\">Slate<\/span> forms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ability to add a &#8220;last reviewed&#8221; date on pages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Post Search Block<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/reference-article\/post-search-block\/\">This block<\/a> adds a search field for users to search entries within a specific post type. The block allows content maintainers to choose which post type should be searched. It automatically recognizes all custom post types registered within the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2024\/06\/post-search-1.jpg\" data-fullsize=\"1000x738\" data-zoom=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"738\" src=\"https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2024\/06\/post-search-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37818\" srcset=\"https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2024\/06\/post-search-1.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2024\/06\/post-search-1-300x221.jpg 300w, https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2024\/06\/post-search-1-768x567.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ncstateglossaryterm\" data-title=\"Student recruitment and application system\">Slate<\/span> Form Embed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/reference-article\/slate-form-embed-block\/\">This block<\/a> provides a streamlined way to embed a <span class=\"ncstateglossaryterm\" data-title=\"Student recruitment and application system\">Slate<\/span> form created by university admissions officials. No new front-end functionality is provided by this block, but it does make it easy for content maintainers to add forms without the embed code being removed through security and sanitization functionality within WordPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Last Reviewed Indicator<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Included as part of the theme&#8217;s content audit tools, you can now choose to display a &#8220;Last Reviewed on X&#8221; indicator. (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.ncsu.edu\/ncstate-ucomm\/ncstate-theme-v4\/pull\/126\">#126<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added field group and updated template to include button that links to more info about dates and deadlines for the Academic Programs Custom Post Type. (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.ncsu.edu\/ncstate-ucomm\/ncstate-theme-v4\/pull\/132\">#132<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added the ability to toggle on the last reviewed date on the bottom of a page, which will use the last time a content audit was performed. (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.ncsu.edu\/ncstate-ucomm\/ncstate-theme-v4\/pull\/136\">#136<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A block to search different post types has been added, with styling similar to the archive page&#8217;s search. (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.ncsu.edu\/ncstate-ucomm\/ncstate-theme-v4\/pull\/142\">#142<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A block to embed slate forms on pages has been added, which will take a form id and pull a form and automatically display that form on the page. (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.ncsu.edu\/ncstate-ucomm\/ncstate-theme-v4\/pull\/143\">#143<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bug Fixes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-padded-list\">\n<li>The Alignment options on Tables were no longer functioning, the classes needed to be added to the styles, they have been added and now work. (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.ncsu.edu\/ncstate-ucomm\/ncstate-theme-v4\/pull\/137\">#137<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The lightbox background was missing due to the color palette changes from the unbranded theme, the necessary variables have been added. (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.ncsu.edu\/ncstate-ucomm\/ncstate-theme-v4\/pull\/139\">#139<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggling off the show CTA when there was no URL set would cause the content card to error out, this should no longer be occurring. (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.ncsu.edu\/ncstate-ucomm\/ncstate-theme-v4\/pull\/140\">#140<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Text Links block&#8217;s arrows were misaligning during editing, this has been fixed. (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.ncsu.edu\/ncstate-ucomm\/ncstate-theme-v4\/pull\/127\">#127<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The URL and Start\/End dates fields on non-credit programs are no longer required. (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.ncsu.edu\/ncstate-ucomm\/ncstate-theme-v4\/pull\/127\">#127<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The blocks available on the Homepage Page template are now available on the Default News Homepage template.
