Our latest Monthly Open Internal Web Meeting<\/strong> covered some exciting updates, ongoing projects, and improvements to backend performance. If you missed it, here\u2019s a quick recap of what we discussed and what\u2019s coming next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s New in the NC State Theme?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We walked through the upcoming\u00a0version 4.9 updates<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Gravity Forms in Split Content Blocks<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Making it easier to embed forms within complex layouts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Optional Custom Label for Compact Masthead<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Giving sites more flexibility in navigational usability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • SEO Enhancements for Accordions<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Improving structured content visibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • “Last Modified” Date for Posts<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Providing more transparency on content updates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Looking ahead, version 4.10<\/strong> will bring design system improvements<\/strong> and backend refinements for smoother content management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Brand Site Progress<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The\u00a0new brand site<\/strong>\u00a0is shaping up, with added functionality for easier access to:

    \u2705\u00a0Color palettes<\/strong>
    \u2705\u00a0Downloadable Assets<\/strong>
    \u2705\u00a0Editorial Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The site is tentatively scheduled to launch in mid-April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Smart Search Refinements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
