{"id":234,"date":"2020-05-18T00:37:03","date_gmt":"2020-05-18T00:37:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/?page_id=234"},"modified":"2026-02-26T15:00:25","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T20:00:25","slug":"highlight-block","status":"publish","type":"reference-article","link":"https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/reference-article\/highlight-block\/","title":{"rendered":"Highlight Block"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>One of the most flexible blocks within NC State Stories, the Highlight block allows an author to link out to related stories, supplemental information and resources, or other online resources such as an event RSVP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Almost all fields within the block are optional other than a heading and URL. Additional fields include a subtitle area that can be customized to provide more context to users.
