{"id":2958,"date":"2022-09-05T21:54:27","date_gmt":"2022-09-06T01:54:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/?page_id=2958"},"modified":"2026-02-25T11:13:31","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T16:13:31","slug":"contact-us-block","status":"publish","type":"reference-article","link":"https:\/\/university-communications.ncsu.edu\/documentation\/reference-article\/contact-us-block\/","title":{"rendered":"Contact Us Block"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use Cases<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Contact Details block is helpful for content creators to provide users with relevant information on how a unit can be contacted, where they are located and the unit&#8217;s business hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the Contact Details block, five types of information can be included: &#8220;Email&#8221;, &#8220;Hours&#8221;, &#8220;Phone&#8221;, &#8220;Mailing Address&#8221; and &#8220;Office Location&#8221;. These cards can be added and removed freely, making it easy for content maintainers to decide what information they want to feature. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Contact Details block will prove to be most effective when featured on pages like an &#8220;About&#8221; or &#8220;Contact&#8221; section of a website. It&#8217;s also advised to only use the contact card types that your team will need. Alternatively, the block can be found by using the &#8220;Search for a block&#8221; function that power users might be familiar with.
