Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Block Quote block is designed for referencing longer excerpts from external sources. A block quote is typically used to display content from another body of work such as a research article, annual report or strategic plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A good rule of thumb is to use a block quote if a quoted excerpt is going to be more than three lines of a paragraph when displayed on a desktop. In these scenarios, using a Blockquote block will help make the excerpt easier to read and identify within your page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
