NC State launched the premium lager in July through a five-year agreement with New Belgium Brewing that has a five-year renewal option. New Belgium pays N.C. State an annual guaranteed sum, which goes to the school’s fermentation sciences program, and the Wolfpack also receives an amount based on how much Old Tuffy is sold.
