Social Media

We’ve constructed one of the most robust centers for social media strategy in all of higher education.

Social Intelligence

Social media experts across campus come together in NC State’s Social Media Strategy Hub: a collaborative, analytically driven workspace — housed in University Communications and Marketing — where good ideas compound and great social content thrives.

We thoughtfully leverage social platforms to strengthen NC State’s brand and tell the Wolfpack’s stories, we maintain the university’s official social media accounts, and we empower units across campus to run their own channels more effectively.

“What sounded like science fiction just 10 years ago is now a medical therapeutic reality,” said @NCStateCALS distinguished professor Rodolphe Barrangou.

Barrangou was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame for his role as a pioneer of the CRISPR revolution. He joins Chancellor Woodson to talk about his work and to share advice for aspiring scientists.
