University Communications, a part of University Advancement, builds positive relationships between NC State University and its many constituents through strategic internal and external communications that convey the university’s brand identity.

University Communications is comprised of four units:  creative services, web communications, university relations and special events. The units work cohesively to deliver integrated marketing, communications and event solutions to promote the NC State brand.

Specifically, University Communications:

  • Increases awareness of the university’s distinctive benefits
  • Ensures consistency in university-wide messaging and visual identity by facilitating integration and coordination of public relations and communications efforts throughout the university
  • Monitors and responds to public issues and perceptions
  • Provides marketing, communication and Web strategy, counsel and creative services to campus clients
  • Provides guidance and resource assistance for university events
