Paragraph Block
There isn’t much to a paragraph block, but it plays an important role nonetheless within your web pages. The bulk of your content will be within paragraph blocks.
Basic formatting options are available. Those options include:
- Bolding
- Italicizing
- Hyperlinking
- Adding superscripts and subscripts
The text can also be left, center, and right aligned; however, the default of left alignment should almost always be used.

Additional Functionality
Statement Styling
Within pages, a “Statement” styling variation is available for paragraphs. This styling option gives editors the ability to apply larger text with increased font weight. This option also allows selection of a font color from the site’s approved brand color palette. These settings are available in the block settings found in the right hand menu of the WordPress editor.
YouTube Video Embedding
he Paragraph block also supports immediate YouTube video embeds by simply pasting in the URL of a YouTube video.
