What’s New in the NC State Theme?
We walked through the upcoming version 4.9 updates, including:
- Gravity Forms in Split Content Blocks – Making it easier to embed forms within complex layouts.
- Optional Custom Label for Compact Masthead – Giving sites more flexibility in navigational usability.
- SEO Enhancements for Accordions – Improving structured content visibility.
- “Last Modified” Date for Posts – Providing more transparency on content updates.
Looking ahead, version 4.10 will bring design system improvements and backend refinements for smoother content management.
Brand Site Progress
The new brand site is shaping up, with added functionality for easier access to:

The site is tentatively scheduled to launch in mid-April.
Smart Search Refinements
User testing and refinements are occurring with Smart Search with the goal of a broader rollout expected by May/June and full readiness by August.
