Featured People Block

Use Cases

The Featured People block is a great way to spotlight individuals. You can display a headshot, name, title, and even link to an external resource. While it’s often used to highlight a single person, the block also supports multiple profiles. This makes the block useful for showcasing an entire team, or group of people.

Features

Like most other blocks, the Featured People block is first added using the block inserter. Then, you can populate the content of the block in each specific field.

The Featured People block supports a headshot, name, title and link for each person. This makes it easy to provide all the pertinent details of an individual you wish to highlight.

One final feature to highlight, is the featuring of multiple people. Instead of highlighting one person, maintainers can add profiles to feature multiple. This is great for highlighting teams, multiple writers on a post. or a collection of contributors.
