Embedding links on web pages is a fundamental aspect of building a website. and content creation. It contributes to seamless site navigation and user engagement. It is a crucial part of your site’s overall effectiveness of online communication.

How to Embed a Link

Embedding links in WordPress is easy. The video above and the instructions below detail the steps needed to embed a link on your site:

  1. Navigate to the page or post where you’d link to embed your link.
  2. Locate the block within the page or post where you’d like to embed the link.
  3. Click on the block and then look for the link icon in the block toolbar (this icon resembles a chain link).
  4. Click on the link icon and then enter the URL you want to embed into the provide field (it may be easier to copy and paste your link into this field then type it out).
  5. Once your link is added, click the “Apply” or “Add Link” button to confirm the hyperlink.
  6. Update your page or post to apply the changes.
