March 2025 Web Meeting

The Monthly Open Internal Web Meeting focused on NC State theme design system updates planned for mid-April release, including documentation improvements, Newswire functionality changes, and backend performance enhancements.

In this meeting we discussed ongoing design system adjustments to the NC State theme, including standardizing elements and leveraging new CSS functionality, with plans to release changes in mid-April. The team is working on improving documentation and Newswire functionality, adding search capabilities and refining the user experience for different tiers. Additionally, they addressed issues related to web publishing and discussed potential improvements to make the back-end more performant during site build-out.
