Big Fact Block

Use Cases

The Big Fact block is another striking way that content creators can break up long bodies of text on a webpage. In addition to helping pace readers as they work through the text of a page, the Big Fact block is useful for drawing an audience’s attention to an interesting and relevant fact to the theme of the page. Alternatively, it can be used for reiterating a significant quote. See an example of the Big Fact block below:

Features

In Gutenberg, adding a Big Fact block to a page is as easy as clicking the “Add a block” button and choosing “Big Fact” from the block list. Alternatively, the block can be found by using the “Search for a block” function. For more info on blocks and adding them to a WordPress site, see our documentation on blocks.

Once added, the Big Fact block includes space for creators to include a fact, quote, or any other important text they want to feature to draw reader’s attention. There is also space for supporting text and link.

Additional customization is available through the block settings found on the right-hand side menu. Site maintainers have the option to change the background color of the Big Fact block if they wish.
